Is time and location freedom better than winter commuting, yes to me it certainly is!

As the last warmth of our Indian summer fade for another year our thought return to winter. Some like the cool crisp frosty mornings but for me it was something I dreaded together with the dull drab days filled with rain clouds and driving rain. So I was lucky I only had to drive a few miles to work, that was bad enough, but the mere thought of tubes and trains or motorway commuting fill me will horror.

I like blue skies, warmth and sunshine or cosy fires crackling, I must be a cold-blooded creature! So a few years ago I decided enough was enough and worked out a plan to winter in the sun. It did take a few years for my plan to come into fruition, but we spent last winter in our house in Spain.

Every morning we woke to sunshine and blue skies, well that is a slight exaggeration, we had rain on four days in six months. The remainder of the time it was about 20 degrees by lunchtime each day. Does that fill you with longing?

I spent the mornings working my laptop, whilst my sporty partner followed his pursuits of tennis, squash or cycling. After lunch we were free to visit beaches and explore our surroundings. We discovered some beautiful beaches a stones throw from our house where stretches of deserted beaches meet the rippling water. The wet rocks glistening in the sunshine, and palms swayed overhead in the breeze. Often yachts passed by in the distance, or distant liners headed for the port. The warmth soaking into our bodies.

Soon it will be time to pack up and return, it is like heading for another world. There no one talks about the weather as it never changes, though I must say when it rains it is like a waterfall! Yes it becomes very hot in summer, that is when we return to England to enjoy it's fresh greenery and spend time with our friends and family.

So if time and location freedom would be your kind of bliss; to work at home wherever home you choose home to be, there are many things you can do with a laptop. You could write books or create eBooks for Amazon. Create space allows you to self-publish paperbacks and children's' books. They are a self-publishing platform. So with the help of freelancers on "Fiverr" waiting to illustrate your books and perform other tasks, it could make an interesting new hobby business if writing is your forte. They say everyone has at least one book waiting to be brought to life! Maybe your knowledge would enable you to write training manuals etc.

Another suggestion, if you are looking to start an online business the simplest way is affiliate marketing. Begin with the help and guidance of a good coach it will save you time and money in the long run. Your coach will provide you with both best-selling products and training, and whilst you are learning the techniques you can earn generous commissions, this can be 50% or more.

It does take awhile to set your new lifestyle in motion but the sooner your start to plan it the sooner you will be able to enjoy your time and location freedom
