4. Magazines - There is nothing wrong with the gold old way. Monthly magazines also provide information on the latest sweepstakes and giveaways. Most of the magazines today have an e-version or they manage and operate a website.

5. Stop by at blogs - Bloggers post sweepstakes and contests as a strategy to attract traffic to their platform. Thus, they scour the web for not only the latest but also sweepstakes with grand prizes.

6. Fewer entries - Most participants run for the popular sweepstakes. If you are really looking to raise your chances of winning, go for those that have fewer entries. Some are restricted to specific local areas disallowing people from other states or countries to participate. Sweepstakes are also designed to target a specific gender or age group.

7. Stick by the rules - Every contest has its set of rules. And, if you really want to up your chances of winning the grand prizes they offer, you have to play by the rules. There is no two ways to it. It includes simple things like the maximum number of entries, referrals and ways to get extra chances. Missing out on even one of the rules can get you disqualified.
